Coming to you live from the 2012 Perth Writers Festival

Thanks to some incredibly cheap Brisbane to Perth airfares and an overwhelming feeling of wanderlust, I am currently over 4000km from home and gearing up to attend the first day of the Perth Writers Festival.

Over the next three days, I am going to be listening to some fabulous authors speak about writing, including Lara Morgan, Carole Wilkinson, John Birmingham, Michael Robotham, William McInnes, and my personal favourite, Jo Nesbø. I’m so excited to head over to the University of Western Australia campus and immerse myself in the festival. I’ll be tweeting from the events (so follow me at @mycupandchaucer) and also recapping the highlights on here.

So let’s go! And if you happen to be in town, don’t be shy and come say hi. It’s somewhat intimidating being in a city where you literally do not know a single person.
